can't even say I like "dark romance" anymore because why 99% of them has one MC sexually assaulting the other MC? like why I feel SURPRISED when I manage to find one without sa/rape? dare I say not being able to write a proper "dark romance" without rape is a skill issue.

Not sure how I feel about FMC's trauma being completely forgotten by the author and the characters? Like why would you write her going extremely traumatic things COUNTLESS TIMES if you will not write her being actually traumatized. ugh.
