Ryan Lee is starting One Art: Letters of Elizabeth Bishop
Just like the title of the poem, Bishop reveals that art can turn even ordinary things into something important and worth noticing. This basically suggests that careful observation helps us see beauty, meaning, and emotion in places we might usually ignore.

Ryan Lee is starting Ozymandias
This feels like Shelley roasting people who think power lasts forever. Even the most famous rulers end up as broken pieces in the sand, so pride looks kind of pathetic in the end.

Ryan Lee is on page 10 of 20 of The Second Coming
Yeats complicated my thinking through symbolism here, especially with the image of the “rough beast” in The Second Coming. So instead of giving a clear idea of whether change is hopeful or terrifying, that symbol made the future feel dark and hard to understand, which made me as a reader feel more unsettled and conflicted.
