All I can say is holy $#!T. I actually burned through this in less than 4 hours. It's a damn record and I suspect it's due to how well written Matthew Quirk's book is. Review to follow soon.

We meet a very professional MSS. By the book chap but ultimately he's pragmatic and very fair to Caine and his friends. I'm sure we'll see him in a future story.

Chapter 45. And we come to the curtain call and Caine has decided to opt for a similar deal Courtland Gentry recently did. Become the personal deniable asset to the new DCS who just replaced the old one. Lets roll......

Chapter 44. I guess Keji got his just deserts after all. Worse than shooting him like Al Neri did to Fredo Corleone. He now has to live with the fact that everything he did was for nothing.

Caine has finally acquired the package at last and gets to hear her backstory. In other news, the sec state has flown into Japan in a very well written scene. She's trying to solve the Sekkaku Diaoyu dispute.

Well that doesn't look good. Hired gun is down but Becca still has to contend with a very pissed off DCS. And her gun is empty......

Clever woman. Hired gun is subdued and she's now got herself an HK. I wonder what her asset is going to do to get out of the jam he's in.

Chapter 25. Koichi acquitted himself in the ambush but someone from Tokyo Met's public security buereau had to spoil the fun. And DCS Bernatto is still running his black op. A rather budget affair. One hired gun and a rented out basement in Thailand....
