Omg the book has been great! I knew that Keris and Zarrah would have a fabulous time on that ship alone lmao but overall I can’t believe still that each of their closest friends died bc of them being together and now they’re separated to somehow end the war 😭 I knew Bermin would be there on Zarrah’s place but idk what Keris intends to do with wearing his military jacket. I know Lara kills Silas soon so idk

Okay so I did accidentally get behind and off my grind with this book ahhh lol. But regardless I still love what’s going on in the book and I’m excited so see how Zarrah’s escape keeps playing out and I feel so close to being done finally! I’m curious as to how it’ll segway into the next book

Zarrah is so behind to the game in every scenario! At least Keris has all these backup plans we love him. Fuck Zarrah’s aunt, after that scene where she literally beat her up I knew she was corrupt and not to be trusted!!! I feel like I’m gonna be so close to finishing the book tn bc I just can’t put it down now!

I woke up and instantly read like 50 more pages lmao it’s so good! Pool is officially canceled so now I’ve abandoned all things and went to shore road to continue my reading. Otis just died which had me shook tbh. I’m actually kinda sad he’s gone just cause it’s a sad ending to his sad plot line 😭 I’m lowkey dying for Aren and I’m loving reading in his pov again! Who knew a hu cost Otis’s life damn

I’ve been crazy locked in it’s now 5:38 am, I have plans to go to the pool in only a couple of hours but I could not stop reading! I love when I get hooked like this I’m extra loving it now bc it’s having major crossovers with the first two books and I love it!

Okay so apparently shit hit the fan right after my last update it’s 1:56 am Keris and Zarrah just fucked LOL I love how she knows Keris bc of his eyes and after she left the hotel I was like the only way they’ll see eachother again is if he comes to her or if she gets captured and now she’s captured…the way I saw that coming!!! (listening to iloveit by Bella Kay and it’s so Keris and Zarrah coded)

Wow the book has picked up sooo much! I think I got over the hump of the backstory and laying out how the characters met and now I’m seeing why I had to read through so much lore lol. Everything is starting to connect and come together nicely and I love how the relationship is developing and I think I’m gonna be breezing by the next couple of chapters

I was reading this part while I was tanning so I was locked in and I enjoyed seeing how Keris and Zarrah met and I like how it ended on that front. I’m wondering how they are gonna meet again.

Now that I’m reading Zarrah’s pov I like her backstory and I can already tell this girl is gonna like Keris lol but I’m excited to see how this develops

So far I like how it filled in the blanks from the main battle scenes of the last book. I still don’t know how I feel about Keris being a protagonist but I’m down to see where this goes
