Excellent book, better on 2nd read. Not having a physics degree, there’s bits that I couldn’t quite follow, but the voice is so authentic that I never questioned what I was reading. Shows a little age in places , but considering it was written 50 plus years, I’d be amazed if it didn’t.

I’ve been on an Alan grant kick and have been checking out most of the characters he wrote. This one doesnt work for me.

The humgoo story was ok.

Of course the writing here is not very good. But my god, there are so many excellent artists—Toth, Wrightson, Adams, Williamson. Even jerry granidetti—who really shines in black and white—shows some stuff. I’m not sure it’s worth the price but it sure is pretty…
