I’ve never read a romance before but I can already tell I’m going to be reading a lot of them. At least until the predictability makes me want to gouge my eyes out. But this book makes me miss dnd :( Also the losing your best friend over something stupid is a little too relatable

PEEEEEAK. Though I feel like day’s theory that the plague isn’t an accident (which is obvious in this type of story lol) is a very big jump to be making from catching a glimpse at a hospital room. Also why was he making out with a girl when he didn’t even know her name 😭😭 also ask first?? But whatever. I don’t like Thomas I got it spoiled for me that he killed metias :(

I flipped ahead a little and turns out Isaak and Ehri (?) both die and like wtf I was invested in their storyline. I had it played out in my head with some big confession but I guess it would be repetitive to have that kind of thing in both Isaak and Nina’s storylines

This is literally the first book I’ve ever cried over because THEY FOUGHT SO HARD TO BE TOGETHER AND HE OVERCAME HIS UPBRINGING AND THEY WERE LITERALLY SOULMATES AND HE WAS DREAMING OF THEIR FUTURE AND THEY WERE HAPPY. They were perfect together and now it’s all RUINED. WHY??? WHY!!!! :( thank Djel for ao3 fix it aus
