Listened to the Richmond Lattimore translation (possibly my favorite so far) and the essence of the Homeric universe and Greek mythology really boils down to the illusion of free will. No man escapes his fate, you can run around the city 3 times or you can stand your ground and accept your fate.

Whatever is wrong with me, makes guys who have this slight loser boy element incredibly attractive. So far, this is right up my alley.

Never have I ever vibed so hard with a ya non- fantasy highschool set book. I like the direction of the story. It’s cute and got me out of my reading slump.

Ngl, this is my favorite Cassandra Clare book. Maybe because my favorite trope is childhood friends.

I actually wanted to read The love that split the world but got my hands on this piece of magic I'm halfway through the book..and I must say this is not what I expected ,not your average forbidden romance story ....
