I’m really liking this read by Kate Storey

It’s beautifully written. , but the translation is a bit unusual at times with the story.
Not connecting to the characters well .

An interesting start to the story , if a bit brutal an image to imagine with the rooster.

Loving this book

This book has me laughing out loud. The whole Bayou setting works do well . I do like the chemistry between Laurel and the devilish Jack.
I know that the character Savannah is going to break my heart at some point in this read.
