Dense text. Tough to connect with the material without a prior knowledge of the players and the films. Though Schulman creates compelling narratives that flow through each other in a rather fast fashion. This has given me a kick towards watching Frank Capra films, a serious blind spot in my film knowledge, and I thank Schulman for at least doing that. So far, so good.
