Lot of glitches on goodreads the last couple of days. Everybody out for the long weekend over there?

I added another new shelf: Psychological Thriller. I've been shelving them under mystery, but there is enough of a difference that I've decided I need to be more precise.

I've decided to make a new shelf, labelled "Florida" to label certain novels. It's somewhat arbitrary, as some of the books with the label don't actually take place in Florida, and some books without the label ARE set in Florida. I have an idea of what a Florida novel is supposed to be, and those are the ones with the label.

Everybody seems to think I should be a big Star Trek fan, but I'm not. I don't mind it, but I'm not a Trekker or Trekkie.

At this point in time, I prefer old fashioned space opera like Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Brick Bradford, and Adam Strange, where a guy with a rocket pack and a ray gun overcomes insurmountable odds.

Someone should definitely revive Brick Bradford.

Starting a three week series of Clive Cussler Wednesdays!

For those of you who actually read my reviews, I'm ending the weekly Clive Cussler review.

After winning Piranha in a firstreads drawing, I went on and read the rest of The Oregon Files series, followed by Isaac Bell, followed by The Fargos series. See? it does pay to have these drawings!

I counted them up, and goodreads has led me to start reading approximately 20 authors I didn't read before. That's a pretty good number for just one person.

Came into some 2015 vintage Mack Bolan novels. Some of the last published in the series, which began before I was born.

Going through a sasquatch horror phase, I guess.

Out of the drink and into the can!

Things are getting deeper and deeper.

And now we get to the needless conflict between our two heroes.
