Just wanted to dip my toes into the next book cause the previous one was gnarly

Aaaand we are back

Been meaning to start this! It's very true to what it is - heavy on the kitchen and restaurant journey. Dont mind it though! Palate cleanser, funnily enough.

I can sense an impending big moment. It's been on and off slow, then we'd get some important sequences. I struggle when he (Carl) focuses on the puzzle-esque nature of the map and trains. So that's been pretty hard to overcome. But dialogue and character development moments have been extra good!

Okay, reading updates:

This is definitely slower than the first 2 books. Matt (the author) mentions at the start not to fixate on the station numbers, train tracks, etc. but it really drifts me off. I don't know if it's the numbers (lol...) or if it requires some level of abstract thinking.

Lot less brute force than I was expecting. But still good, so we persevere!
