I used to run summer camp simulations and the villains in these books remind me of the villains in our stories. Quite fun.

I imagine this is way to niche for public consumption:

All afternoon, I’ve been mulling over how the Spartan leader Archidamus in Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War is basically Treebeard at the Entmoot saying “Let’s not be hasty master Hobbit.”

Doubt that’s the kind of thought AI will ever produce, but it is also probably only something that I would ever think about… Oh well.

Wow. This is a fun book. Haven’t finished it yet, but it definitely is pulling me in.
