I don’t think I expected to come across the mindset of a woman making these choices under pressure, yes, but also with determination and rationality. You wouldn’t expect Maria to actually own up to whatever she’s doing, there is no victim mindset which makes this very very interesting and intriguing. Still a lot to read, things might change. But I’m hooked for sure.

Almost halfway done and I just know it’s the husband who is the same man responsible for THAT thing that happened. I just know it at this point I’m like 95% sure. Although yes I could still somehow be wrong (unlikely) which is why I’m reserving the other 5% in case there’s a plot twist my mind simply doesn’t go to.
