Biko displays a quantum perception of reality and this book should be made a must-read for millennials in the continent.

Xuma finally realises it's Maisy! I was shocked to learn that this is the first novel to come out of South Africa. Wonderful read. Should have read it long ago.

Zuma's love for Eliza is blinding him. I think one must be humble enough to accept the love that is offered freely as opposed to chasing after it. Very important lesson and difficult to explain. I wonder what happens with Maisy at the end? Hhmmm

Really wonderful read! The political realism in his tone is too sincere to ignore. At his 20s, he certainly epitomised the man of the future.

This book feels rather sluggish and the unfolding of the plot isn't enough to keep me glued. Ofcourse, I will read it to the last page but I don't know, some pages feel as if they're just fillers with shallow conversations and Ellie's moments of soliloquy aren't as revealing as they should be. This is however just my opinion so I hope I haven't offended any 'Saganist', so to speak.
