The prose is lovely. Such wonderful metaphors/similes, including "When I looked down at my hands and saw them shaking, it struck me in a wholly impersonal way, like noticing the battery was drained on my iPod, that I hadn't eaten in a while" p.73.
The plot is a bit slow-going though. Not horribly, and I'm enjoying lingering in moments, but there are times they could have gone quicker.
