I stopped right after Medra found the fluffin. Honestly this book reads like a Wattpad fanfiction, and the author doesn’t bother explaining Medra’s backstory to the reader. It just feels like she’s shoving every trope into the book without fully fleshing it out, from her mom stuck in her head, to being a powerful fae (but not explaining this), to the vampire bf

The second plot twist hit. This book has been soooo fun to read, but this twist (while good) felt a bit disappointing. I really wanted to see Lisavet the way I imagine her in the real world. And Lisavet is so different from Moira, but it makes a lot of sense that the real world hardened Lisavet to become Moira (& now it makes sense why Moira is so soft to Amelia, is such a bad cook, and loves to smoke)
