chapter three: oh my GODDDD geralt and yennefer love each other so much, and just that undercurrent of fear and protectiveness that geralt feels for ciri. geralt imagining him and yen being all domestic and married with ciri as their daughter has me in tears oh geralt <3

chapter two: every time ciri comes up i'm immediately invested. also her interactions and bond with yennefer is wonderful, and her desperation to see geralt again <3 ciri trying to matchmake geralt and yennefer and her little introduction to dandelion is adorableeeeee <3
the growing, tense politics in the background is very interesting too.

chapter one: the politics is politicing!! everyone is hunting for ciri and war IS happening. geralt is also searching to follow after ciri and yennefer, AND who rience is getting orders from (it's obviously nilfgaard who also want to find ciri).

pre-read: with the war against nilfgaard on the horizon and ciri's growing magical powers i'm excited to see how this will go. neeeeed some more geralt and ciri together immediately.

epilogue: AHHH OMG OMG I'M SOBBING KIP AND SCOTT ARE MARRIED KIP AND SCOTT ARE MARRIEDDDDDDDDDD. maria and jalo oh i've loved that little side plot, and ahh kyle and eric are finally together.

chapter twenty-four: yayyyy yippeeee!!!! they made up VERY fast holy shit.

chapter twenty-three: oh my god NOOOOO they're arguing :(

chapter twenty-two: eric announcing his retirement!! eric and kyle will finally go on an actual date and confess their feelings hopefully.

chapter twenty-one: SHANE AND ILYA they're so unsubtle holy shit like hello??? i love them <3 and kip gshing about scott i'm cryinggggg.
i like troy, i feel like he's going to talk to scott about being queer in some way which is sweet.

chapter twenty: more smut, i started skimming more when they brought the blindfold and cuffs out tbh.

chapter nineteen: eric worrying about being old omg <3

chapter eighteen: oh poor kyle. we're almost at the end of the book and they still haven't confessed yet though wow.

chapter seventeen: okay wow, i do indeed still need to skim the sex scenes jesus fucking christ.

chapter sixteen: oh i feel so bad for them omg :(

chapter fifteen: hi so uh yeah this chapter reminded me that i need to find ian and murder him holy fucking shit. eric go murder him please.

chapter fourteen: KIP AND SCOTT HAVE PLANNED THE VENUE. istg if they don't get married this book i might screaaaaaam. skimming past the sex scenes though it's kinda painful ngl :(

chapter thirteen: oh my god i cringe so hard at these sex scenes like ugh i canNOT, like do people actually do that? people like that? people don't find that gross and weird and scary and what the fuck???? this is very much just a me thing (aroace) but like ugh i was skimming this chapter desperately waiting for it to end.

chapter twelve: uh hello troy barrett??? (i wish i hadn't read the blurb of the next book, very excited to read his story). i loved eric talking to his goalposts and also fuck dallas kent i want to murder him.
eric and kyle's little fake roleplay was soooo cringe but in a sweet and cute way they're so awkward <3

chapter eleven: aughhh oh everyone keeps mentioning the hollanov camp and it's wonderful. ALSO RYAN PRICE MENTION AHHHH THEY MENTIONED RYAN AND FABIAN LETS GOOOO.

chapter ten: their first kiss lets GOOOO. i do like that they're both starting to be very open about their boundaries, sure maybe not FEELINGS but they're making sure that they're not overstepping and it's really really cute.

chapter nine: oh they're so awkward omggg, this little "exploring men at a bar" is going to end up with eric and kyle TOGETHER instead of any other man lmaooo

chapter eight: god eric is so pathetic <3

chapter seven: omgggg i'm eating up kip and scott in this book holy shit they're sooo aughhhhh. them trying to get eric and kyle together is sooo fucking funny <3

chapter six: hi, yeah, hello can i talk to ian? yeah, i'm going to murder him :)

chapter five: maria and kyle's friendship is giving me life oh my godddd love them <3
scott gushing about kip is the cutest thing ever i love them sooo fucking muchhhhhhhh <3<3<3

chapter four: oh okay the miscommunication is killing me just tell him you're DIVORCED. also oh my goddddd ilya ilya ilya ilya i love you i love you i love you kyle do NOT flirt with ilya because shane fucking hollander will murder you.
scott and kip being so in love in the background is adorable this book better end with their wedding or i'll cry.

chapter three: MARIA!!!!!! omgggg she's here i love her i missed her <3
dw kyle you're going to get over your crush on kip soon, there's a guy named eric you're probably going to bump into at the art gallery.

chapter two: GODDDD it's amazing seeing kip and scott again, they're engaged and they're soooo in love it's amazing. i actually really like eric and kyle so far, i just hope they don't rush into it, especially after eric's divorce.
love eric realising he might be bi because of scott, seeing how his coming out has impacted everyone in the series so far is wonderful, they really were game changers <3<3

chapter one: oh my goddddddddddd kip and scott kip and scott and they're ENGAGED LETS FUCKING GOOOO. i'm also rather fond of eric, but 41 is NOT silver fox, my dad is fucking 52 and fits that description better but sure.
also surprisingly i don't mind kyle, excited to see kyle and eric fall for each other <3
