pre-read: SOD is the sequel of sorts to TLW, serving as another collection of stories set before the main series which provides more background into the actual lore and characters. hopefully we'll be properly introduced to and delve more into ciri.

TVOR VII: oh geralt i love you so much, and you dandilion. oh they're soooooo gay for each other. full review coming soon.

TLW: YENNEFER!!!! absolute icon, absolute queen i love her so much. also geralt being super soft and protective over dandilion here was so adorable. him, dandilion, and yennefer should be poly.

TVOR VI: he's so down bad for yennefer omg. also nenneke never fails to make me smile.

TEOTW: geralt was prepared to sit and take being tied up and beaten just because, but then as soon as someone broke dandilion's lute (which made him almost start crying) he immediately started tearing at them with his teeth in a blind, cold rage. they threaten to murder geralt and spare dandilion who declares he'll do everything to avenge him. they're so old married couple, it would be less gay if they just made out.

TVOR V: DANDILION!!!!!! I LOVE YOUUUUU!!!!! geralt and dandilion have something not platonic going on between them for SURE

AQOP: that was actually really cute. and the law of surprise oh my god!!!! ciri's parents!!!! geralt has no idea just how much of an impact ciri is going to have on him <3

TVOR IV: geralt lierally just yapped to himself for a couple pages lmao. it's fun hearing more about his origin though and the witcher trials.

TLE: a very sad but interesting retelling of snow-white, a snow-white who also ends up fucking geralt and then being killed by him (in self-defense) the next morning. geralt has had sex like three times so far (all implied sex).

TVOR III: nenneke you absolute divaaaaa

AGOT I: what a beautiful twisted retelling of beauty and the beast. oh nivellen you poor soul.

TVOR II: literally not even a quarter of the way in and he's already pining for yen <3 all the lore is coming back to me now as i read, geralt is literally a fucking cat.

TVOR I: i missed you geralt, i missed you witcher magic and dual swords and extensive lore <3 i did not miss the weird, weird way that sapkowski writes women however.

pre-read: the lash wish is a collection of short stories that introduces us to the main characters, usually placed as the first book in the series. i read this book a while ago and then paused the series, then got partway through the witcher 3. i'm rereading it because i haven't read anything in a while and need a new change of pace. i love you geralt <3

chapter four: EW i fucking hate claude, adore vanessa though. their little bargain brunch was very sweet and funny, felt like they were actually friends with history. and of course we're settling into the point in the book where they both deny it but are starting to think about each other sexually now, okay.

chapter three: okay tbf that anxiety bit was very relatable, and oh wyatt hayes you're such a sweetheart. the insight into more of ryan and fabian's history is interesting.

chapter two: oh fun! first meeting! i can't help but remember what ryan said in the last chapter about liking men who look a little androgynous. idk if it's just me but i'm still getting icky vibes off that.
i'm judging this book way too harshly, i think i need to shut up and read.

chapter one: oh? a protaganist who HATES hockey? fun! however, something really weirdly icked me out about ryan though. like his favourite pornstar is an androgynous guy called kamil kock? like cock. so fucking dumb. it felt really fetishistic to me, like the way he talked about it?
it also took me ages to realise it had went from fabian to ryan's POV their voices are the exact same?? overall mixed feelings rn.

prologue: oh wow i have a lot of questions i hope we find out what he did... also omg its 2018?? this is set a couple months before the irina foundation and set AFTER scott coming out... verrrry interesting!!! i'm excited to get to know ryan!

epilogue: OHHHHHH MY GODDDDD HE GAVE HIM ROOM NUMBER LIKE HOW THEY USED TO AND AUGHHHH FULL REVIEW COMING SOON

chapter twenty-three: they mentioned how ilya went to the club in the game changer epilogue!!!!!!!!! i'm sobbing they're actually so soft and cute what the hellllll

chapter twenty-two: i'm actually genuinely sobbing someone sedate me. scott and kip kissing and ilya and shane saw it and they were about to break up and ilya said he's coming to the cottage oh my god i am sobbing out loud i need to hug them allllll

chapter twenty-one: oh nooo the accidental cliff marlow collision... WILL YOU COME TO THE COTTAGE AHHHHH!!!!!!! MAYBEEEEE!!!!!!

chapter twenty: shane wears glasses oh my god!!! shane honey did you just say 2014 as two thousand and fourteen? what the hell i love whatever is wrong with him.

chapter nineteen: oh my god the all-in-russian call my poor heart, i'm so glad we got to hear the full thing in the show. also OH MY GODDDDDD ilya and shane SHOULD get married that is a beautiful ideaaa!!!!!
