Literally this was so so so good. World building was outstanding. Characters were A+ and the MMC boyyyyy, the right amount of dark, twisted, possessive and yearning all wrapped into one. This took touch her and I’ll hurt you to a whole other level in the best way. The story pacing was literally so so good, nothing was too rushed. The plot wasn’t easily guessable which is so amazing. I loved this so much

Kinda disappointed I read the other series before this because now everything is just spoilt tbh, we already know where Scarlett and soren end up and what powers she has….. might read this as a last resort but it wouldn’t be as enticing as having read this first

This is getting very close to a potential DNF, it’s just the MMC and FMC cycling through the exact same pattern of behaviour and actions all throughout the whole book so far. Not sure if I want to finish this and see if the other books improve?
