Intriguing

Integrates Buddhist “theory” with Western psychotherapeutic practice and history. Well footnoted. Howtrongly relates to the concepts, progress and results achieved through the process of the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

I actually started this three weeks ago. My boyfriend asked me to read it. We get together every Tuesday to read; he, the book I chose for him and me, this one.

Bogged down at p. 33 due to strange letter of catharsis to Hitler. It's true: happy persons are all alike, but unhappy ones suffer each in their own way.

The writing style is just a little bit self-indulgent.

I hate reading with editor's eyes! So far I've noticed some writing weaknesses but am willing to plow through.
