I find myself surprised at so much of the history of gender and sex-related terms, they really have nothing to do with how we “must” establish ourselves!

Great! I enjoy the different historical and scientific references that the introduction has, it gives a lot of background for truly understanding why we see sex and gender as we do in society today.
