“I’d been telling people I’d always wanted to learn
German for about five years.” Also me with French 🫠

I fear this read will be more hard hitting than I predicted. Technically I didn’t predict anything as I went into this blindly, BUT it being relatable was not one.

Also I’m just now learning these updates can’t be edited after it’s posted soooooo #badnewsforme #letterboxdisbetter 🫢

“I was no longer worried about competition over my caviar”
“I don’t know if Hilda could read”

Esther is HILARIOUS and so relatable.
I too wonder if many people can read 👀

Side note, I should prob compile all my comments for the final review but eh its fine

Did she just leave her friend on the carpet in her own vomit and go to sleep?!
Even if it’s someone I really disliked, I wouldn’t be able to that due to the immense guilt I’d feel even just considering the idea.

MC has just asked Polly to stop calling her Munchkin, I am RELIEVED. this revelation wasn’t worth the 2am read but worth something.

Random free iBook download. It started with no context therefore it took a bit of time to get into. Kinda more interesting 25% in but I just watched a little women edit of Jo and now I have regrets committing to this book.
I’m giving it 24 hours to finish it, otherwise I’m abandoning it.
Also Polly saying Munchkin literally every sentence really irks me like nails to a chalkboard.
Currently: 4/10

“This novel too has wings - it takes its readers where they need to go, and shows no sign of losing altitude.” - Frances McCullough

Downloaded after being naturally intrigued by coworkers talking about this book and then Kat in 10 things I hate about you reading it.

Read most of the foreword, never knew Sylvia suicided. But, intrigued indeed to read soon.
