I love seeing Charlie’s spelling get better as the pages progress, it’s slow but it’s really impressive!

This story is very slow-paced, and there’s a ton of minor details and repetition that doesn’t necessarily add to the story… so far I’m honestly quite bored :/

I find Charlie’s character to be very charming and touching… his dedication to becoming more intelligent feels familiar, and his motivation being “I just want to be smart like other pepul so I can have lots of frends who like me.” was incredibly vulnerable. I just started this book, but I already feel really attached to him.
