I was led to this book by Bray, who begins his “Creeds and Councils” with a tender reference to Mascall, and ends with the same. This surprised me, but pleased me. I had encountered Mascall before with his book, Corpus Christi, passed my way by my then priest. I was very surprised therefore to see an Anglo-Catholic referenced by a Reformed evangelical. And so, I had to go and see. Very encouraged so far!
