I just finished chapter 2, and let me just say...loving it so far! 😊 Already mentioning God, and having sweet moments! I was nervous at first because the writing is different from what I've been reading, I read the first chapter yesterday, and couldn't get my mind to completely go into the story. Tonight I picked it up and blew through two chapters! 😂 So excited to keep reading!

Calm before the storm...I'm both excited to keep going and dreading it. (Having read the book before, but not completely remembering it). Loving how Leslie talks as queen. So fun! ☺️

This chapter made me kinda sad. It didn't such a good job of talking about Jesse's family situation. I loved how happy he was to give Leslie his gift. There is something so joyous about getting someone something that they end up loving. 🥰

These kids are mischievous man, I am shocked that is 5th graders reading this book didn't take inspiration from Leslie and Jesse after this chapter and cause problems. 😅 I'm sure we were told that the behavior was not acceptable. 😂 This whole chapter is so relatable to how kids can act at this age though.

I am just loving the way that Leslie talks about Terrabithia! ✨ Still holds up from when I read it back in 5th grade. ☺️

So...Blair is slightly upsetting me...but not to the point that I don't like her, I just don't like her way of thinking; but I feel certain that she will change due to ✨character growth✨ Which we all participate in as imperfect people trying to figure life out. 😂 Still loving it! Oh, but I do very much dislike his mom. Great job making me feel so much disdain for a fictional character. 😂

This scene...I'm so happy that they have made their way back to each other and openly admitted everything, but I'm nervous for any other points of contention that they might go through in these last 56 pages....hopefully not many. My heart is fluttering over this chapter...so needless to say I'm loving it. 🥰

Declan is the best! He is so thoughtful and caring! Every time he's on the page..I know he's about to do something so thoughtful that it will convict everyone else of mediocrity. 🤫😊😂 I CAN'T wait to finish this book! But at the same time...I'll be so sad that it's over... 🥺

Where do I start...they just had the big conversation and it ended with Blair desperately wanting to spend every second from now on with Declan. I'm not sure where this is going to go from here...but this last chapter had me feeling so many emotions. Declan describing the accident...and then them talking through why they haven't talked in so long...it was such a good chapter!

Just finished chapter 15. Declan is so straight forward...at times. 😂 Sometimes he avoids Blair like the plague...others he says, "You've always been worth my time, Blair." I love him. 🥰😂 And now there's someone else....I'm excited to see what happens. 👀😁

I'm loving the book so far! I'm excited to read it and I'm not usually excited to read. 😂 Something that Blair has always assumed to be true has been revealed to be false, and now I'm not sure where the book is going to go from here...but I am so excited to find out! 😁
