Goldstein’s book (and by extension George Orwell himself) has some really interesting commentary on the state of our world. I think too many people find 1984 to be a criticism of capitalism or communism, but in truth its a criticism of all forms of human hierarchy, wherein Goldstein presents that they shall all fail in the end due to inherent failures and human follies; pretty neat and thought provoking ideas!
