Good so far, reads more like a mystery thriller than usual SK but not even a quarter way in yet.

Not started yet but one observation. In the paperback version at least, can’t comment on the hardcover, the writing is very small and if you wear reading glasses you may struggle with this.

Pretty good so far. I mentioned earlier that there was a pretty outlandish assumption similar to those made in Strange Houses, thankfully this has not continued.
The book is primarily in four main chapters and I’ve just finished two. It reads initially as there own separate short stories, although leaves questions unanswered but then it has connected to the first chapter towards the end of the second…

Similar style of reading to Stranger Houses. There are, in the first chapter a couple of outlandish leaps of suggestion, although moving into the second part of the story, these have not been addressed as yet. I suspect that will come later in the story.

Great, have a knot in my stomach waiting for a big reveal. It suggests the story based in 1986 is wrapping up but with 80 pages still to go.. I’m thinking not.

Very good, page turner and difficult to put down.
As I said before it had a stranger things vibe and continues to do so as I keep swinging back to 1986, but that’s more of the feeling of reminiscence than the story leading you to monsters and things.
So far the story just keeps feeding you drops of info to keep you interested without giving the whole story away. I feel that something big is around the corner…

Started well, it follows the same group of people jumping between 1986 to 2016. It has mostly been 1986 so far and the chemistry between the group gives a sort of Stranger Things vibe. That’s not to say that’s where the story is going, I’ve yet to find that out.
