interesting read so far!! so much details in so few pages, i think the story’s laid out pretty well (tho i kinda need more context abt the extractor and how the earth turned into a wasteland; but i think it will be explained in the further chapters). i thought i could finish this in one sitting but ofc my attention span still needs some work 😞

this is so addictive to read 😣 i really like mateo and rufus’s dynamic, so refreshing to see a friendship like theirs foster so good in just eleven hours with only shared fear of dying at the end of the day. watch me get wrecked once i finish this

i’m breezing through this book 😭 maybe because of the spacing and formatting of the words or everything’s just easy to digest for me because of the timestamps? either way i really like this book so far, it’s fun to read (and by fun i mean my eyes became watery multiple times).

goal: finish the book in a day or two after this

i’m so ready to be wrecked by this book 🥰 although the character introductions are nice n sad, i kinda feel optimistic for them to live for just a bit (though if they do die within 24 hrs, it would be interesting to see how that can all fit within 300+ pages)

conflict on both sides :( everything’s getting messy bruh i feel like i’m getting entangled w their lives. can’t really say i’m siding anyone because i feel like i understand all their sides (or maybe i’m js too much of an empath lol)

i rlly like the even chapters w them emails… maybe because i gravitate closely to their existential crises and their ideas also make me think of my own perspectives abt stuff??? i like this kind of involvement

chapter 7 was… 🥵 maybe i react too much because i’ve never really read *those* kinds of scenes before? lol
