Over halfway! I like shorts chapters—they make me feel like a fast reader. 😂🥳

A few quick notes:
•The plot thickens
•The characters are interesting
•Kinda reads like a British mystery/thriller which I love
So far pretty good!

Why is this so sad 😭

I haven’t rlly been reading but I’ve decided I need to finish this insanely long book so I can get onto others. Death actually spoils a lot of events himself throughout the early parts of the book. Liesel is smart and caring but her actions honestly make me mad sometimes. I think I relate much more to Rudy. I also feel like we see a different side of Mama in this stressful part of the book.

Ok, so far my thoughts on this book are very positive. The way Markus Zusak writes is so unique and I’m kind of in love with it. I am worried however because Liesel is so adorable and I just know this book will be tragic. At first I was I was confused why Papa was calling her a “Saumensch” (which translates to “filthy pig of a girl” or the b word) but after research it makes sense (to lighten Mamas words)
