I am 90% sure that Carrie killed Marcus, but Peter was an accomplice. I’m theorizing that Carrie and Peter were actually lovers, they would have had plenty of time and once Laura told Carrie that Peter wasn’t next in line for the business Peter and Carrie decided to kill Marcus so that Peter would get the business and that Carrie could get her revenge
