I don’t know if I like the loss of love from Aurora towards Heath - I feel like something was written and changed - but we will see. I really liked the way the story was going but now I’m a little unsure of the direction...I’ll keep going of course. 🤔

This is way different than I imagined but I like that it’s different...it’s much more complex than I thought it would be...thank goodness! 😅

Listening to as an audio and reading at the same time - it’s hard to chart progress though...I believe I’m at chapter 17. But have to wait until Winter Glass is read and reviewed to finish!

I forgot the end of the last book so I had to reread some of Spindle Fire to get back into the world, but once I did, I was off and running! Books by Lexa are amazing as always!

I love the sequel even more bc I am getting more info on the stuff that is the background of the story. So this is def a book I’m glad I found on sale, along with the rest of the series, at the library bookstore.

I’m really liking this series. I think Stacey Jay is marvelous!

So much like Cinder....but without the real connections that make Meyer so enjoyable. Maybe I should have read this one first before reading Cinder? 🤔😂

This is interesting, but I kind of liked the idea of it being an unrequited love story between Romeo and Juliet. This is cool, too...but I’m a big R&J fan, and I guess I was expecting something different. Still, I can’t help but be sucked into ANY retelling of a fave!

I don’t know what page I’m on because I’m reading this as a choose your own adventure book/game. Figured what the hell? 🤷‍♀️

This is definitely an interesting retelling of The Tempest. I like it. Weird and strange.

I don’t want to finish this series! I’m afraid it’s going to break my heart.

Now I remember why I hate contemporary. Stupid. I hate crying. I hate unhappy endings. Bullshit. I threw the book.

Talk about emotionally draining! This is why I usually don’t read contemporary...but I’m literally tearing up and cannot put it down. I just know this one’s going to break my heart. 😭

Already immediately checked out the second and third book from the library. This is AWESOME! Love mythology in YA!

Why don’t more people remember this book? I think I should dedicate myself to reading all YA Between 2011 and 2016. 😂🙌

Still not seeing the point of this yet but I’m hoping I’m getting somewhere. Magic flowers and a guy whose supposed to be like Caliban who isn’t trusted by the father (just like Tempest)...so let’s get this party going!!

I’m not really feeling this one...it’s got a bit of my interest...but I’m just not “sucked in” like I’ve been with other books.

This is written in an interesting way so far - like a story within a story. I don’t know how I feel about it yet...

Confusing but interesting. Slow but intense. Sucked in but need breaks. Hoping it will all come together soon bc if it does, this could be one hell of a book.

Omg this book is REALLY GOOD! I found new music to listen to as well bc the author mentions some bands - the book is perfect for music lovers. I’m also digging the fact that this book is written so well...it’s really nice when there are no errors in an ARC.

I’m already hooked - I love the writing style. Jason Segal is a literary genius and I want to have his love child. 😜
