Raskolnikov ran into his old school friend after escaping his own room while being ill. He wanted nothing to with his friend. He is in a weird state of turning himself in but you can tell he is really second guessing it. He ends up back to the apartment where he murdered the old lady and her younger sister and saw the yellow wallpaper get taken down.

He told everyone to get out of his room and leave him alone. He ended up leaving the building and wanting to end this all, he could not keep living like this with constant fear. He ran into zosimov while reading the old 5 day newspaper with tea. They started to talk about mischief and how they approach the crimes themselves. Raskolinkov started talking about the old lady murder and how he would’ve “planned it”

The main character is still in bed in bad physical and mental state. The man that is marrying his sister ending up finding him , he had a lot of ideas about how humans are and physiological conversations. His old school friend has been talking about this guy he knows found the box that raskolnikov was trying to hide but they have no clue how it got there. His old school friend knows it wasn’t the guy that found it.

Nastasya deeply cares for raskolnikov and stayed with him while he was ill and sleeping. He wakes up to realize his old friend from university dropped by too. His mother sent him the money that she talked about in the letter. He did not want to accept but did anyway. He knew that his mother and sister were sacrificing for him. He then thought about fleeing far away but then went into deep sleep again.

After finding a place to hide the evidence, he went to his old school friend’s place but was very rude towards him and left in a hurry. He ended up just going home and trying to rest but then he woke up to the sound of someone getting beat. It was the cop from earlier was beating his land lady but this ended up being all in his head from delirium and the places servant was very worried about him.

after leaving the police station and getting back to his apartment with a hurry. He was in fear he was already getting search by the police in his apartment for items or evidence. No one ended up being inside and then he went to figure out a place to hide the belongings to the young lady. He ended up putting it next to a gate in a little hole covered. He knew he couldn’t think properly because of his constant mind.

He has been at the police station and was very rude to petrovich the cop. The main cop eventually came in and his name is fomich. He noticed his partner gets upset easily. Raskolnikov was for once sharing his feelings to the cops regarding the payment debt to the land lady, which is out of the ordinary.raskolnikov was very ill and the cops started asking him further question and he didn’t answer the best way.

He has been sleeping after the crime he committed and in paranoia the whole time. The servant of the building came in to help him but then the police asked for his presence in the station. He was very worried and his paranoia grew. He has been in the station and nothing much has happened except he annoyed this one police officer. He started to become calm when he wasn’t called for anything regarding the murders.
