Obsessed and becoming my personality. This definitely has more world building but I enjoy how he weaves recaps and character & plot progressions so it doesn’t feel overwhelming or like you have to annotate to remember

I can definitely understand why there’s negative reviews & the comparisons of Harry Potter but it’s starting to pick up. Immersive reading is definitely easier than physical by itself

so much murder has happened and yet … I still feel like I’m only 5% into the actual plot of this book and I’ve read over 200 pages. I don’t like that 🙂

one thing I have noticed in this trilogy being his first works that he fixed in his writing in the devils is his pacing. My guy used to love to YAP for 100 pages pointlessly before we get to a hook and sinker and man do I always feel bad not wanting to read but good lord is this shit boring 😭 we love writer growth
