I love this book so far! The Wild West is depicted as a land full of death, suffering, and decay, where violence is constant and survival is the only rule. From the first page, I was hooked by the visuals and tone. The narrator doesn’t provide any indication of how to feel, just giving a neutral perspective on the horrors the protagonist is a witness to. Not for the faint of heart and I hear it gets worse.
