lavender book club pick 🏳️‍🌈

man, am i enjoying this ride. i’m not sure why it’s taken me a while to pick this book up, but boy am i thankful.

1) nate is hilarious. 2) this shit took a turn. holy shit.

the premise and these characters have me fucking hooked. i can’t stop reading.

it’s like i experience the panic attacks alongside rowan. my fucking heartbreaks. this is def a one sitting read and i am already wrecked.

i haven’t updated this in a while. it’s slowly going. for some reason, some chapters lose me but i’m dedicated to find out what happens … but it’s taking a minute

um … jake? i think you gotta go buddy.

she’s finally painting again, so i’m curious how much progress the theo will make with alicia, i’m so invested.

who is that little girl?

i saw the trailer for this movie and i was obsessed. then i found out it was a book and i was hooked. creepy and atmospheric and i am love it. so different from the genre i usually read, but i am enjoying every second.

i’ve been looking forward to read this book for so long. one word to sum it up thus far is relatable. Theo has a mindset and thought process similar to my own. the story is intriguing, and although a bit slower, i am enjoying every moment. i deeply appreciate the shorter chapters.

this is the first time i read and listen at the same time. i’m not a big fan of audiobooks, but i think that’s because of my adhd and not being able to comprehend when someone is talking haha but i’m curious. it helps that i’ve been looking forward to finally reading this book.

best book i have read so far this year, and it’s an arc. it has everything i need in this genre. love it and i can’t wait to keep reading.

i am really fucking enjoying this. i haven’t been this excited in a while.

this book is slightly different than the rest, but i think it we needed to see more into jasper. it’s cool to be learning more about his mom.

i am really intrigued, and i am curious where the story will go. i love the elemental powers (i’m not sure yet) and i love the culture we are learning along the way. so far, this arc is checking off every box i mentally created.
