MY HEART IS BREAKINGGGG 💔💔💔

Good lord am I enthralled. This read is a lot darker than previous JEA books I’ve read but trust, I’m here for it.

We got dual timeline and forbidden (therapist x patient) too?! On the edge of my seat. 🫪🫪🫪

Damn this mmc is giving my fave book boyfriends a run for their money. The slow burn is finally igniting, hallelujah 🙌

This book is everything I need right now. It has me cracking up and locked in this early?!? Carolyn Hawkins is seriously the BEST.

God this book gives me the absolute CREEPS.

😳😳😳 oh hell no. Is this book scary?! Because I’m spooked as hell.

Totally vibing!

Hate to say it but I’m not the biggest fan of the narration and it’s taking me out of the story. I’m thinking I may pause and switch to kindle if I can’t get into it soon!

Well color me intrigued. I haven’t read a skateboarding romance before but this is speaking directly to my teen self. Even though I was a preppy theater girl in high school, I loved me a skater boy 🫦🤤

His “Can I see you tomorrow” every time they hang out is giving me the feeeeels 🥹🥹

I AM SCREAMNGGGGG. Sweet jeeebus this has been the hottest scene EVERRR. I already know I’ll be pleading for everyone to read this.

Holy shiiiiit. I’m screaming!!! This is one of the most exciting first kisses I’ve ever read. Having the best freaking time. 🤤🤤🤤

I’m a freaking wreckkkkk 😭😭

Starting my luteal phase while reading this book has me crying my eyes out at this teenage love 😭😭😭

This dialogue is wrecking meeeee. Amy Daws, damn you for making me laugh and cry in every book (but never stop 🤣)

“No, Cam.” “Yes, Indie.” “No.” “YES!” I shout and make a move to kiss her. The heels of her hands slam against my chest, stopping my momentum. Cupping her face, I look at her pleadingly. “I’ve given you the tools to juggle, Specs. Just juggle already.”

😭😭😭

😮‍💨😮‍💨 Amy Daws’ spice is always immaculate. I’m loving the fuckboy ➡️ reformed fuckboy transition 🤤

Also “Specs” as a pet name in that British accent??? Deceased.

I’m absolutely loving this audio! Both MCs are British. As someone with auditory processing issues, I usually have a hard time listening to books with accents but not this one!!

A fuckboy who isn’t bothered by her being a virgin?? Fascinating…

I’m having so much freaking fun and I’m only at 11%. TIL that I’m actually an absolute sucker for the virgin FMC x reformed playboy trope. Never would’ve thought but the way I’m kicking my feet right now!!!
