Im on chapter 3, im already angry that no one seemed to intervene, not their mom, not their older siblings. Im angry that the mom did exactly what her mother did to her, oh your having a baby? Get married. The generational trauma that is contained in this book pains me so much. Um, the one thing that broke my heart was “i Dont want to be a teacher anymore.”
