Finally got back to this and was immediately struck with bodily horror it's so gas

Continues to be good, continues to do a really good job establishing the characters and their motivations. I'm fully invested.

Can't believe it took me so long to get around to actually starting this, I'm already so into it. Doesn't shy away from the morbidity of violence at all, and is very grounded in it's historical setting and that gives the fantastical elements a weight that I really enjoy.

I have so many people on here now that I'm really feeling the heat to read

I'm a huge huge huge HUGE fan of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games, which are heavily inspired by the film Stalker, which is heavily inspired by this book. So I'm already so in love with it and actually very surprised how many seeds were sown here. The attitude and creed of Red is already as familiar as the absurd qualities and anomalies of the zone, and it all comes from my hundreds of hours in the games.

I'm reading like it's middle school again, we're rehabilitated. I'm gonna eat this up I already know, I'm super into this narrative structure so far and I've only read 2 excerpts

A little lunch break reading and man. I'm hooked, this is already a fun read

Reading this one digitally and so my page numbers aren't exactly accurate, we'll go by % here

This is still my current read I've just become horrendously addicted to Path of Exile 2 and am sparing no time to read

STILL REALLY GOOD I was going to stop after a bit but chapter 18 and I was so aghast that I sat up and locked in and HAD to read more

REALLY GOOD so far. Wanted to push myself to read at least like 50 pages today and ended up glued for like 100 pages, it's really getting rolling and the characters are very well developed, I'm so bought in I hope it stays good
