the book is sooo trashy and its soooooo fast-paced but what can i say. your girl loves some cliche romance books.

i get why people say that 'the deal's so "trashy" but like its fun in it own way. its definitely a page-turner but i def want smthg a bit more complex after i finish this.

lwk scaring me about growing up ngl. they reallllly portrayed natalies unhappiness in marriage and motherhood well in a sophisticated method of show-dont-tell. i can see when she gaslights herself to fit into societys expectation and tells herself that she isnt good enough. her OWN MOTHER got in her head. calebs probably gonna have an epiphany and become a man soon but it still doesnt excuse his immaturity rn.

im js reading this on the commute to school so progress is very slow. theres so many like half smut stuff in there that i face my phone to the window and put my brightness allll the way down on my phone LMAOO im enjoying it so far and im getting the physical book soon :)

its actly sooo good; the character is so stereotypical but also not at the same time. the language is the best ive ever seen: the character has so much depth that gets slowly revealed as you read on and the events are so suspenseful and emotional at all the right points. idk how a person can physically write this good.

ive just finished part one and the start was really good !! i usually hate starting new books because the first 5 chapters are boring (ali hazelwood im looking at you but the rest of the chapters are top tier chefs kiss so i forgive you). ive seen some reviews saying "its gone too far left that its ended up right" (whatever that means) but rn all im seeing is amazing character depth and development.
