When you actively read this book it helps you look back at the fundamental concepts of Christianity. It gives you new perspective on basic concepts that your privilege may have taken away from you. For example, we say Jesus loves you but never once think what effect does that have on someone who doesn’t know what love is. Or, if you can’t communicate with them how will you preach about God’s word.
