I'm not quite 60 pages in and already we have someone being shamed for not getting laid regularly, the same character doesn't want to eat pizza for fear she might have to wear Spanx under her dress, and the male protagonist thinks his ex-wife is problematic because she wanted a big wedding and prefers organic food... I wanted a fun summer read, not a book written by a women pitting women against each other.

"On Monday, London's last day of school before winter break..."

Two pages later:

"Tuesday, London's last day of school before winter break..."

Like... how does an author of this caliber not have a decent editor?

There's just SO MUCH going on. Murder, fixation on ex-boyfriends, inadequacy as a mother, marital problems... like what is actually happening

Oh CH, you never fail to give me a good case of the eye rolls.

I'm extremely confused. First Greer wanted to blow up the casino, now has changed her mind for no reason at all. She and Eb were barely speaking, then he's cooking her dinner. What?

Holy moly, these two are getting on my nerves. If I took a shot every time one of them tried to selflessly kill themselves to save the other, I'd be wasted.

Seriously? This chick is seeing dead people and losing her mind and all she is concerned about is her shirtless boyfriend of 10 seconds?
