This was a great story! I love the fantasy of our history with little gems of true history.

I love how this book is taking on a fantasy perspective of racism— i truly believe this is how white families talked about and taught their children about black people.

i started it on saturday and i am intrigued to find out if Verity can move and talk.. will Lowen find out through her sleepwalking???

i started this book as a pallet cleanser and because i found out a movie is coming out.. but i had to make sure i read the book first.. i knew i wouldn’t care to read it if i saw the movie first

found out that Holly Gibney is in If It Bleeds and Holly. I picked up Holly over the weekend for what i thought was a good find for Stephen King at Marshall’s. I plan to read holly next!

i love how the chapters are broken up into storylines!! i love to see how they are cross and overlap…. im in a chokehold
