Games copycat-ish and the elements of surprise aren’t even very surprising.

I feel like the plot is too fast, too thin starting off. Like it’s going real,y fast but I’m just being introduced to SO many characters.

I’m loving it so far!!
Psssst: little inside hint, there are stories in the back of Cinder and Scarlet that are in here! So if you want to save them for later just wait to read them until Stars Above (it won’t affect anything)

I love how after 404 pages (whooo!) I’m still invested in this book. I’m not even mad that I’ve been reading it for 5 days. I have such high hopessss. I absolutely love all the characters and how they are so different and intelligent.

This book starts off with such a nice, fast pace. I love how all of the characters have wormed their way into my heart! I did guess the love interest (unless it changes) but it was pretty obvious. Not in a bad way, though! I’m so excited for the plot to pick up even more. This series has been so fun.

It’s a lot faster paced than Cinder (personally). I was wrong to judge the book before because everything is falling into place so nicely (and I’m not even finished!) this series is going to be so satisfying to finish. The covers are beautiful. I have the illustrated ones.

I so desperately want to be reading the physical copy of this but they are all coming on Sunday 😭😭 it’s a good story so far though. What I noticed with Cinder is that the plot really picked up towards the end, but I enjoyed that. I wish this book was a little more Scarlet so far…including other characters pulls the plot away. But I have a feeling it will all connect!!

It’s good so far, not quite intense or super twisty yet but I think it will improve from here. The cover is stunning.

not super plotty right now, but serious hunger games vibes with a more flirty theme. Not my favorite but I’m going to finish it still!

currently reading Bad Blood by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, the final installment of the Naturals series!! (The novella is already in my copy). This series is so dang goooood. Review later!
