Just needed a re-read after I watched part 2 🖤

Why did it take me so long to read this?! So far it's reeling me in and I'm addicted. Trying to savour the story as best as I can but I'm reading with so much exhilaration and I'm afraid I'll finish this faster than I'd like to.

I'm loving this so much, I'm devouring every sentence and enjoying its creepiness.

I kinda don't know what's going on but I kinda get it? Everything seems somewhat scattered - or maybe I'm not in the right headspace to digest it at the moment. Still, I'm going to power through. I know this story has a lot of promise.

Absolutely blown away. Poignant, heart-wrenching, tragic, incredibly vivid. The pain I felt from this book was just palpable from start to finish. I also believe this book is meant to be enjoyed in audio book form. With that, I salute Chuckwudi Iwuji for his stellar storytelling abilities. 4.5 stars,0.5 points minused because the ending was somewhat vague. But it's a story that will undubitably stick with me forever.

a much needed re-read

Some time last year, I read this book halfway and my book went missing. I finally have my hands on a new copy. Fingers crossed I don’t lose this one..
