Jake’s an eejit, the Suggs are cruel eejits and I hate Frog Lip just less than Blue Duck after he met the German farmers

Chapter 65 was very short, only 2/3 pages long but my favourite so far after the July Johnson searching for Blue Duck chapter. I hope July makes it to the end of the book along with Dish, Gus, Call and the rest of the boys.

Just over 50% through Lonesome Dove. So far has been brilliant. A calm start to the book however it wasn’t boring. Now well into the cattle drive at the top of Texas and a lot has happened. Big fan of Gus. Liked the gang of July, Roscoe, Joe and Janey and would loved to have spent more time with them.
