I love the whimsy and forest-fairycore in this book. The addition of Fae is so cute and I cold see myself reading this in an autumn setting with a warm blanket.

Rereading this after finishing the series really makes me pick up on all the sidle details I skimmed over first time through. Knowing what I know now the interaction was more interesting than before…

I’m am amazed all over again at the comebacks in this book.

Abigail is going to live because of the game of thrones theory where is you don’t SEE them die, they are not dead… yet. But seriously Kai, DON’T KILL CHILDREN! He needs to stop murdering people. And why does he have to so CASUALY mention… I’m not getting into that.

Not great. I don’t really like the character and plot design. It’s kind of boring, like I could say it would be good for people just getting into young adult books, but doesn’t really have character development or a change in thought processes. It moves very quickly but Evangeline is too trusting and really struggles on seeing a different (non-happy-go-lucky) perspective.

First nickname on either side. Love intrest has started love interesting! Oh and the fact that Paedyn doesn’t even recognize Kai… and I forgot how cocky he is. I really envy past me reading this interaction for the first time.
