5/17/21 I'm at 58% of the book. Honestly, it's getting boring. I feel I need to finish it, though. The whole story about his grandfather has taken over the book. I am more interested in his relationship with his mother and father, but this large portion about his grandfather is dragging on. I will continue reading, though...

4/28/21 I put this on my currently reading shelf months ago, but started it today.

4/17/21 12% Didn't really get into this until about the 10% mark when Jane moved to the school. Had a hard time relating to the characters in the beginning.

4/25/21 22% Now very into the book. Chose to it instead and am finding it more pleasurable. Am reading "In Cold Blood," "Redemption Song" (about Joe Strummer), "At Home in the World," and "Natures of Fire: God's Magnificent Angels" at the same time.

4/19/21 On page 26. Started free Kindle portion of book. Could barely put it down. Vince bought the book for me 4/20. VERY engaging book.

Finished 4/14/20. I didn't cry through the whole book until the last couple of pages. I could feel what Debbie felt in those pages. Reading Sid's letters and the poem he wrote also took me aback.

Finished on 4/14/21. This book changed me. I will write a review soon.

4/7/21: 50% done. Library eBook. Thought I had more time on it. Will read 2nd half when can get the book again. Just stared on 2nd half of the book and pretty interested in her journey through being educated - the part where she talks about the Holocaust was quite something.

4/13/21 84% done. Was able to listen on Audible and check out the eBook again.

At this point Nancy is dead, they have to identify her body, Sid is arrested, but out of jail.

I'm loving this book. I probably should have stuck with reading only this book alone, but I started too many at one time, including "And I Don't Want to Live this Life" (about Nancy Spungen), "June Bug," and "Blackbird" that I can't put down, either.
