Islington is the reminder I deeply needed that just because it’s commercial fiction doesn’t mean it has to suck.

Such a fun read. Fast-paced. Action packed. Funny! And most importantly, no insufferable expository internal monologue or dialogue.

Bravo James! I can’t wait for the next one!

I finally feel like we’re getting somewhere. Why did this take so long?? UGH!

I find Baz’s storyline wholly uninteresting. I’m completely bored by his ten pages straight of internal monologue, unrealistic narrative exposition, and flashbacks that don’t end. I want to skip his chapters so badly.

Lacelle’s exposition style is similar to James Islington’s in the beginning of The Will of the Many.

Much of the book feels quite slow. It wasn’t until just over halfway that I felt like things were exciting in all three POVs.
