PLEASE BRO I NEED TO GET HOME SO I CAN TELL OOMF TO READ THIS THEY NEED TO IT'S THEMCORE

reading this on behest of classes and also a friend who really really likes frankenstein. is this fruity or am i making it up

oh boy this is a book that sure doesn't take itself seriously at ALL. which in my case really isn't great because of how many musical numbers are in here (there are a LOT of musical numbers) and i just get really disoriented. wonderfully gay and shamelessly flamboyant this format is just. Something TM and it is Not treating me very well unfortunately. head in my hands

trasngunders:) okay anyway yeah this is like. not like anything i've read before which is a little bit worrying. i haven't ever read dialogue written with aave before which is really neat to see here <- nonblack mixed poc so i can't say much about it. very very interesting all things considered

really really excited. i've been wanting to read emezi's work for ages

and you're telling me this is supposed to get gayer??????

genuinely some of the most absurd stuff i've ever read it's wonderful. i love characters being authentically themselves when you the reader feel like you're getting secondhand embarrassment. to be cringe is to be free. go on tiny cooper be who you are for your pride don't hide lmao
