Boris's plot twist was what this book needed to make it somewhat interesting again, though I fear it arrived 100+ pages too late. It's been so boring until now, I really can't express how unbearable Theo still is. So, so unlikeable.

At first Rook's and Sun's POVs were funny, cool to read. It's getting a bit tiring, though, as they use the same sort of "jokes" over and over again. Rook's insecurities highlilghted in every single chapter, Sun's "No-I-don't-like-Rook" jokes being repeated every time they interact with Rook.
Their banter is... mid, a roller-coaster, sometimes good, sometimes meh. We'll see how it continues.

Theo is so unlikable. I could look past it earlier in the book, but it's too off putting now. I know you don't need to like a character to enjoy the book, but Theo narrating everything is making it hard to go forward.
I have bought the book and I don't like reading books unfinished so I will force myself to go forward. Slowly.

The more I keep reading the more I dislike Theo as a character. Not every character has to be likeable for you to enjoy a book, and with that I agree, but god is it hard to keep reading this book with Theo narrating it. He is so stupid and now misogynistic as well.
I won't DNF this only because I have bought the book and I don't like DNF-ing them, so I am forcing myself to go forward.

This book leaves me conflicted. On one hand I like its prose and the general way it's writte. It's clear Donna Tartt knows what she's doing, I love her way of writing.
On the other hand, I find it mildly boring. Maybe it's the genre, as I'm not really fond of non-fiction, but it feels like I'm forcing myself to read the book even though I somewhat? don't mind to keep doing it.
