I thought this was going to be tales of adventures the man experiences when he is trapped below the Earths surface. However, where I’m at in the book, the author takes multiple pages to explain the language of this species, which doesn’t feel super relevant to the story since it’s not like readers are going to study and learn a new language that doesn’t exist for one book.
